The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine leads the nation in meeting the challenges of 21st Century education with quality training for medical and pharmacy students.  LECOM provides that education at an affordable price with innovative student-centered pathways.

LECOM is growing to meet those challenges with campuses in Erie and Greensburg, Pennsylvania and Bradenton, Florida.  A recent report to the Josiah Macy, Jr. Foundation cited the College as a model of innovation that new and expanding medical schools should follow.
 
According to US News & World Report's Best Medical Colleges issue, LECOM ranks fifth in the nation for graduating Primary Care physicians and has the second lowest private medical school tuition.  Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education includes LECOM among the top ten colleges accepting Hispanic students.

Here is where you will get information on your current courses, talk to other students and get handouts and notes as well as chat with professors and other students within your classes and student organizations.  We will broadcast important information on these pages, so make sure you check back regularly.

AACOM
The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), exists to lend support and assistance to all the nation's osteopathic medical schools.
AOA
The AOA serves as the primary certifying body for D.O.s, and is the accrediting agency for all osteopathic medical colleges and health care facilities.
Pharmacy Associations
APhA
The American Pharmacists Association represents all pharmacists.  Through information, education, and advocacy, APhA empowers its members to improve medication use and advance patient care.  The student section which is has a governing body is called the Academy of Students of Pharmacy
ASHP
The American Society of Health System Pharmacists is a national professional association that represents pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care, and other components of health care systems, working to improve medication use and enhance patient safety.  Student chapters are coordinated by the state affiliates such as FSHP in Florida and PSHP in Pennsylvania.
