The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine offers an innovative, 32-credit, Master of Science Degree in Medical Education. This degree is intended to greatly enhance the effectiveness of health professions educators and others who aspire to improve the quality of healthcare. By providing an advanced level of knowledge and insight into the processes and applications of teaching and learning, the Master of Science in Medical Education degree will prepare graduates to make a profound impact in their related fields.
The LECOM Master of Science in Medical Education is a distance education program open to anyone interested in pursuing graduate-level education.
Special pricing is available for residents, current LECOM students seeking dual enrollment and LECOMT OPTI members. LECOM faculty should contact Dr. Mark Terrell regarding scholarship eligibility requirements.
If you are interested in taking a single course in the MS in Medical Education Program without seeking the degree, select the MS in Medical Education SINGLE COURSE Application option to the left.
We accept only applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
LECOM Medical, Pharmacy and Dental students interested in applying to the MS in Medical Education program to pursue a dual degree must have successfully completed the first two years of their school with a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be considered.
